Here at Beest Butter, we are passionate about creating products that are not only all natural but also benefit the environment from which they came.  Your purchase automatically contributes to programs we have developed that give back to the land, give back to nature, and give back to humanity.  We have developed a plan to tie giving back into our business in a manner that is fruitful to everyone involved.

Listed below are a few of the programs we have developed or adopted and are not all of them.  A portion of the proceeds from every sale goes to our programs below.

Program 1:  Homes for Hives

We are promoting Wild Bee Colonies in natural wilderness areas.  What this essentially entails, is building Natural, untreated hive boxes in wild areas, and scenting them in the spring with lemongrass, giving the young swarms in the area a place to build their hive, outside of the dangers of civilization. 

Our hive boxes are the same size as our common and more commercialized “Langstroth” hives, but the bees will be free to build comb as they see fit, the NATURAL way.  We add SOME structure in there, along with bees wax to help them get started, then they are off to the races!  We are always tinkering with different hive ideas for the bees that will be warm in the winter and easily defensible. 

Program 2: Bee Fruitful

We are networking with different, well known permaculture groups to plant food forests for bees on their properties, along with promoting natural hives to them as well. The kinds of trees we plant depend on the climate, but range from coniferous to varying deciduous trees for propolis production (one of our Beest Butter ingredients), as well as heavily flowering fruit trees for nectar.  Each food forest will have at least one European Honey Bee hive and one native bee box.

Program 3:  Sanctuary

This is a permaculture program where part of every can of Beest Butter sold will go into purchasing deforested land and creating bee sanctuaries in conjunction with other productive elements such as chickens, ducks, and cattle. 

Envision 40+ acres of overgrazed and compacted cow pasture....can you see it?  Then imagine that same land being turned into the Garden of Eden, where almost everything is edible or useful to bees, humans, and livestock. 

We use our proprietary techniques in permaculture to totally revitalize the soil, while multi-specie cover crops as nitrogen fixing bee forage.  After the bloom, we run the cattle through to graze off the tops and fertilize the pasture, we run the chickens 3 days behind the cows kill off flies and produce eggs.  Along with this, 20-50% of the land will be set aside for reforestation and wild native species to flourish.  Food produced can be donated to those in need.  This program goes a lot deeper than we can get into here, but we intend for this to be the largest of the Give Back programs, and eventually we hope that all of our essential oil and propolis needs will be met from these endeavors.

Program 4:  Feeding Children

A portion of every sale through Beest Butter will go toward taking care of needy children around the world.  We fund groups that feed, clothe, and educate children in areas where these children and their families are persecuted for their faith.  We were doing this before we founded Beest Butter, and we will not stop.  A portion of all proceeds go toward these young children's food, clothing, education, and medical needs.
